Історичні віхи та концепції парадигми ерготерапії – ключ до розуміння професії

Стаття присвячена проблемі підготовки фахівців з ерготерапії для сфери реабілітації в галузі охорони здоров’я України. Досвід європейських країн, де ерготерапія, як професія вже існує багато десятиліть, неодмінно треба використовувати у процесі підготовки бакалаврів з ерготерапії в Україні. Вивчення іноземного науково-практичного досвіду показує, що чільне місце в навчальному контенті бакалаврських освітніх програм з ерготерапії належить базовим знанням, які є необхідними для ерготерапевтичних професій. Розуміння витоків ерготерапії сприяє створенню систематизованої бази для теорії та практики в галузі, кращому розумінню студентами різних спеціалізацій в ерготерапії і сучасної ситуації. Значна увага в системі базових знань приділяється також концепції парадигми ерготерапії, професійному мисленню, як важливій навичці ерготерапевта, та основам науки про заняттєву активність.

The article is devoted to the problem of training occupational therapy specialists for the field of rehabilitation in the sphere of health care in Ukraine. The experience of European countries, where occupational therapy as a profession has existed for many decades, must be used in the training of bachelors in occupational therapy in Ukraine. The study of foreign scientific and practical experience shows that a prominent place in the educational content of bachelor's degree programs in occupational therapy belongs to the basic knowledge that is necessary for occupational therapy professions. Understanding the historical origins of occupational therapy contributes to the creation of a systematic basis for theory and practice in the field, a better understanding by students of different specializations in occupational therapy and the current situation. Considerable attention in the system of basic knowledge is also paid to the concept of the occupational therapy paradigm, professional reasoning as an important skill of the occupational therapist, and the basics of the science of occupational activity. Throughout the history of occupational therapy, therapeutic exercise has been the common core of various approaches to intervention. The use of occupational activity as a therapeutic method is the essence of the profession of occupational therapy. Occupational therapy and occupational science are closely linked: occupational science studies activity, and occupational therapy embodies it. All over the world, occupational therapy is a separate science-based profession and occupational therapists strive to maintain and develop this status of the profession in the future.
