Професійні компетенції майбутніх вчителів у сфері географічної освіти: сутність, специфіка, технологія формування

Мета статті – проаналізувати, що вже зроблено у сфері реалізації ідеї вдосконалення підготовки вчителя, розробки вимог до компетентності сучасного вчителя. У статті висвітлюються окремі аспекти проблеми формування професійних компетенцій майбутнього педагога. Розкривається зміст і специфіка системи професійних компетенцій майбутнього вчителя географії, обґрунтовується необхідність проектування нових педагогічних технологій, що сприяють ефективному формуванню професійних компетенцій майбутнього педагога. У статті узагальнено теоретичні положення щодо сутності понять “професійна компетентність”, “компетентність педагога”, “концепції географічної культури”. Професійна компетентність розглядається як інтегрована властивість особистості, котра володіє комплексом професійно значущих для вчителя якостей, має високий рівень науково-теоретичної та практичної підготовки до творчої педагогічної діяльності й ефективної взаємодії з учнями у процесі педагогічного співробітництва на основі впровадження сучасних технологій для досягнення високих результатів. Професійна компетентність педагога проявляється у здатності вирішувати проблеми та типові завдання, що виникають у різних ситуаціях, на основі використання професійних знань і умінь, навчального і життєвого досвіду відповідно до засвоєної системи цінностей. Важливо, що в цій структурі ціннісні відносини, професійно-ціннісні орієнтації, мотиви діяльності педагога впливають на ціннісну свідомість школярів, розвиваючи та коригуючи їхні духовно-маральні уявлення. Система професійних компетенцій майбутнього вчителя географії – це комплекс характеристик у сфері професійної діяльності, опосередкованих специфікою географічного змісту світоглядного характеру і специфікою процесу географічного пізнання. Чітке уявлення про компетентні вимоги до вчителя географії необхідне для об’єктивної оцінки якості праці вчителя, успішної організації системи підготовки та перепідготовки вчительських кадрів.

The purpose of the article is: to analyze what has already been done in the field of implementing the idea of improving teacher training, developing requirements for the competence of the modern teacher. The article highlights some aspects of the problem of forming professional competencies of the future teacher. The content and specifics of the system of professional competencies of the future teacher of geography are revealed, substantiates the need to design new pedagogical technologies that contribute to the effective formation of professional competencies of the future teacher. The article summarizes the theoretical provisions on the essence of the concepts “professional competence”, “teacher competence”, “concepts of geographical culture”. Professional competence is considered as an integrated personality trait that has a set of professionally significant qualities for a teacher, has a high level of scientific, theoretical and practical training for creative teaching and effective interaction with students in the process of pedagogical cooperation based on modern technologies to achieve high results. The professional competence of the teacher is manifested in the ability to solve problems and typical problems that arise in different situations through the use of professional knowledge and skills, educational and life experience in accordance with the acquired system of values. It is important that in this structure, value relations, professional and value orientations, motives of the teacher influence the value consciousness of students, developing and adjusting their spiritual and moral ideas. The system of professional competencies of the future teacher of geography is a set of characteristics in the field of professional activity, mediated by the specifics of the geographical content of the worldview and the specifics of the process of geographical cognition. A clear idea of the competent requirements for a geography teacher is necessary for an objective assessment of the quality of a teacher’s work, the successful organization of the system of training and retraining of teachers.
