Review of the essence and structure of the phenomenon of spirituality. Underscored is the exceptional value of spirityality on the contemporary stage of development of the civilisation. A conclusion is drawn that indifference toward consequences of the spiritual crisis may be fatal not only for an individual, but for the humankind as a whole.
