The modern condition of forming sociocultural competence in future elementary school teachers

Статтю присвячено проблемі формування соціокультурної компетентності майбутніх учителів початкової школи у процесі фахової підготовки. Розглянуто сучасний стан сформованості соціокультурної компетентності майбутніх учителів початкової школи. Проаналізовано сучасний стан розуміння викладачами і студентами значущості володіння знаннями та вміннями соціокультурної взаємодії залежно від того, з представниками яких культур і соціальних спільнот вона відбувається, у процесі професійної діяльності майбутніх учителів початкової школи; спрямованість особистості на засвоєння соціокультурних знань і соціокультурних умінь; поінформованість студентів щодо особливостей представників різних культур і соціальних груп; сформованість умінь здійснювати самостійний пошук у розв’язанні соціокультурних проблем; різноманітність, регулярність досвіду засвоєння культурних цінностей; ступінь задоволеності студентів своїм рівнем соціокультурної компетентності.

This article is devoted to the problem of forming sociocultural competence in future elementary school teacher’s in the process of professional training. In present study the author examines the problem of development of social competence as one of the main competence of the person. There is a growing role of intercultural contacts, so the sociocultural problem becomes more urgent. In particular the article addresses to the problem of sociocultural knowledge formation and its cultural, linguacultural, socio-psychological, sociolinguistic, linguistic, informational and communicational aspects as maturity of sociocultural knowledge indicates the development of social competence. The authors presents this process in training future teachers for elementary school through the assimilation of socio-cultural knowledge and sociocultural skills; student’s knowledge about the characteristics of representatives of different cultures and social groups; formation of skills to carry out independent search in solving social and cultural problems; regularity of the experience of assimilating cultural values; degree of students' satisfaction with their level of sociocultural competence.
