Методика навчання іноземних мов: теорія і практика

Розглядаються методи та підходи до методики викладання іноземної мови. Особлива увага акцентується на принципах навчання іноземної мови як основної складової методологічного процесу навчання. Невід’ємною складовою професійної підготовки спеціалістів різного профілю є вивчення іноземної мови, яка є важливою частиною сучасного
ритму життя. Вивчення іноземної мови – крок надто важливий, тобто, потребує значних зусиль. Це також запорука
майбутньої вдалої кар’єри студентів. Проаналізовано інноваційні методи викладання іноземних мов, які почали активно та стрімко розвиватися у зв’язку зі зростаючою потребою в оволодінні іноземною мовою в короткий термін. На сучасному етапі розвитку методики викладання іноземних мов особливий акцент ставиться на нових тенденціях у відборі методів, які орієнтовані на мету навчання – формування у студентів основних рис мовної особистості. Матеріал, що засвоюється за допомогою подібних методів має сприйматися як інструмент та засіб соціальної взаємодії з партнерами спілкування. Назва методу може бути зумовлена видом мовленнєвої діяльності, що складає мету навчання, у зв’язку з чим розрізняють усний метод та метод навчання читання. У назві методу може відбиватися спосіб розкриття значень
іншомовних слів: прямий (безперекладний) і непрямий (перекладний), а також головний канал надходження іншомовної інформації: візуальний, аудіо-візуальний; зв’язок методу навчання з психічними процесами оволодіння іноземною мовою: свідомий та інтуїтивний, штучний та природний. Також зроблено висновок, що методика викладання розвивається і дає можливість доступніше подавати іншомовний матеріал завдяки тому чи іншому методу. Отже, доцільно використовувати не один, а поєднувати кілька методів, оскільки це дає змогу викладачеві охопити різні рівні підготовки студентів.

The article discusses methods and approaches to teaching foreign languages. Particular attention is paid to the principles
of teaching a foreign language as a major component of the methodological teaching process. An integral part of the professional training of specialists of different profiles is the study of a foreign language, which is an important part of the modern rhythm of life. Learning a foreign language is a very important step that takes a lot of effort. It is also the key to a future successful student career. A thorough analysis of innovative methods of teaching foreign languages, which began to develop actively and rapidly due to the growing need for mastering a foreign language in the short term, is made. At the present stage of the development of the methodology of teaching foreign languages, special emphasis is placed on new trends in the selection of methods that are focused on the goal of teaching – the formation of the basic features of a linguistic personality among students. Material learned using such methods should be seen as the tool and means of social interaction with communication partners. The name of the method can be determined by the type of linguistic activity that constitutes the goal of the teaching, and therefore the oral method and the method of teaching reading are distinguished. The name of the method can reflect the way of disclosing the meanings of foreign words: direct (non-translated) and indirect (translated), as well as the main channel of foreign language information input: visual, audio-visual; the connection of teaching method with mental processes of mastering a foreign language: conscious and intuitive, artificial and natural. It is also concluded that teaching methodology is developing and makes it possible to submit foreign language material more readily due to one or another method. Therefore, it is advisable to use more than one method and to combine several methods, since this allows the teacher to cover different levels of student preparation.
