Словотвірний потенціал процесуальних дієслів

Статтю присвячено дослідженню словотвірного потенціалу процесуальних дієслів. Розглянуто основні групи процесуальних дієслів та їхню здатність утворювати похідні іменники, виокремлено основні способи словотворення та словотворчі засоби. Проаналізовано семантику похідних девербативів, специфіку їхньої валентності. Встановлено, що всі процесуальні дієслова мають майже однаковий словотвірний потенціал, однак дієслова окремих груп утворюють похідні іменники непослідовно, зокрема в межах групи переходу суб’єкта зі стану в стану або зміни якості виявлено лексеми, що не мотивують девербативів, наприклад, голубіти, дерев’яніти, мокріти тощо. Продуктивним словотворчим засобом є суфікс -нн-. Запропоновано виокремлення девербативів зі значенням процесу, що зберігають дієслівні суфікси -ува-/юва-, та з предметним значенням, у яких суфікси ова-/-ьова- вказують на результат процесу як предмет. Під час дослідження використано описовий метод та метод компонентного аналізу.

The article deals with the study of word-forming potential of procedural verbs. The main groups of procedural verbs and their ability to form derivative nouns are considered, the main ways of word-formation and word-forming are singled out. The semantics of derivative deverbatives and the specificity of their valence are analyzed. The purpose of the article is to find out the word-forming potential of procedural verbs in the Ukrainian language, basic word-forming tools, the semantics of deverbatives. The relevant articles of the Ukrainian Language Dictionary served as factual material. Methods. The study used a descriptive method for the inventory of groups of derivatives by semantics and word-forming tools, and a component analysis method for establishing subject and procedural families in derivative nouns. Results. It is established that all procedural verbs have different word-forming potential, in particular the verbs of individual groups form derivative nouns inconsistently, for example, within the group of transition of the subject from state to state or change of quality, non-verbatims such as голубіти (doves), дерев’яніти (to wooden), мокріти (moisten) and more were found. The productive word-forming tool is the suffix -нн-, the less commonly used are the suffixes -тт-, -б-, and -к-. Researchers recommends reducing the use of the -к- suffix, which is not peculiar to the Ukrainian language, especially if there are parallel forms as вирізка – вирізування (cutting). It is proposed to distinguish deverbatives with the value of the process, which retain the verb suffixes -ува-/-юва- (-uva-/-yuva-), and with the object value, in which the suffixes -ова-/-ьова- (-ova-/-‘ova-) indicate the result of the process as an object. Conclusions. The study allowed us to draw conclusions about the different word-forming potential of procedural verbs: the largest group has the lowest word-forming potential. Deverbatives with procedural value mainly preserve the valence of the motivator with the transformation of the dependent word form, and the ability to attach consistent adjectives is inherent to nouns with real meaning. Individual derivative nouns with the suffix -к- often pass to another lexical-semantic group, acquiring proper substantive, real meanings.
