Політичні партії як суб’єкти політики іредентизму

Аналізується роль політичних партій у формуванні політики іредентизму, спрямованої
на об’єднання груп розділеного народу в одній державі. Досліджується діяльність політичних
партій у європейських країнах, у тому числі тих, які межують з Україною: Румунії,
Угорщини, Росії. Обґрунтування іредентистської політики у багатьох випадках спирається
на ідею «Великої держави», яка аргументує відновлення державності в колишніх кордонах.
Іредентистська риторика притаманна партіям правого і право-центристського
спрямування, які декларують зацікавленість у добробуті етнічних родичів у сусідніх
державах. Успішні результати участі партій у виборах свідчать про досягнення важливих
цілей: вплив на формування політичних переконань громадян і отримання доступу до
державного управління.

The article explores the role of political parties in the policy of irredentism that is aimed at
the uniting of divided groups of a nation in a single state. The research deals with the activity of
political parties in European countries, including those bordering Ukraine: Romania, Hungary and
Russia. The justification of irredentist policy in many cases is based on the concept of «great
powers», which argues the restoration of the former state borders. Irredentist rhetoric is inherent to
right-wing and center-right parties, which declare interest in the welfare of ethnic relatives in
neighboring countries. Successful results of participating in the elections demonstrate the
achievement of important goals: the impact on the formation of political views and the accession to
government control.
