The article focuses on the growing role of women in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their contribution to national security. The author analyses the key aspects of women's participation in military operations, their integration into army structures and achievements in overcoming gender stereotypes. The author provides statistical data that demonstrate the unprecedented activity of women in the military sphere, including participation in combat and in leadership positions. The article focuses on the difficulties faced by women veterans in civilian life, in particular, during rehabilitation and adaptation. The importance of ensuring equal opportunities for women in the military sphere and their contribution to the reconstruction of society after the war is emphasised. The growing role of women in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the context of modern challenges requires rethinking stereotypes, adapting military doctrines and ensuring equal conditions of service. The study covers the legal, psychological and social aspects of their integration and adaptation after the war.
