Цінність «здоров’я» в ієрархії ціннісних орієнтацій здобувачів вищої освіти

Сьогодні Україна стикається з глобальними викликами, пов’язаними з гібридною війною Російської Федерації проти України з 2014 року, з коронавірусною хворобою з 2019 року та з повномасштабним вторгненням Росії в Україну з 2022 року, які унеможливлюють виконання Закону України «Про фізичну культуру і спорт» у повному обсязі. Тому проблема фізичного виховання загалом і сформованості цінності здоров’я здобувачів вищої освіти зокрема як ніколи стали актуальними на сучасному етапі історичного розвитку України. Для приділення молоддю уваги своєму здоров’ю одним із вирішальних факторів є місце, яке займає цінність здоров’я в структурі ціннісної орієнтації. Тому тестовим матеріалом при дослідженні була вибрана методика вивчення ціннісних орієнтацій Мілтона Рокича. Як показали результати тестування, на сучасному етапі розвитку українського суспільства здоров’я є однією з пріоритетних цінностей здобувачів вищої освіти. Тому цілеспрямована та профінансована робота з масового залучення здобувачів вищої освіти до фізкультурно-оздоровчої діяльності повинна переломити негативні тенденції в сучасній системі фізичного виховання та сприяти покращенню здоров’я здобувачів.

Ukrainian society in modern conditions faces global challenges related to the Russian Federation's hybrid war against Ukraine since 2014, the coronavirus disease since 2019, and Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine since 2022, which make it impossible to implement the Law of Ukraine "On Physical Culture and Sports" of December 24, 1993. Therefore, the problem of physical education in general and the formation of the value of health and its place in the hierarchy of value orientations of higher education applicants in particular have become more relevant than ever at the current stage of Ukraine's historical development. For young people to pay attention to their health and physical development, one of the decisive factors remains their motivation. Therefore, the value orientation of higher education students and the place that the value of health occupies in its structure are important in this sense. Therefore, the test material in the study of the place of the value of health among the values of higher education students was chosen as the method of studying value orientations of Milton Rokeach. Testing was carried out according to a list of terminal values. Each value from the list of 183 higher education students of various faculties of Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University aged 20–22 was assigned a rank number in order of its importance for them. As the results of testing higher education students showed, at the current stage of development of Ukrainian society, health is one of the priority values for higher education students. Therefore, targeted and sufficiently funded work on the mass involvement of higher education students in physical education and health activities should reverse the negative trends in the modern system of physical education in higher educational institutions and contribute to improving the health of students.
