Предмет «Фізична культура» у системі середньої освіти зарубіжних країн

У статті представлено структуру системи загальної середньої освіти деяких країн Європи, Азії, Америки, які
мають схожі ступені: початкову, неповну середню і повну середню. Кожна із ступенів має свою тривалість в різних
країнах. Загальною тенденцією є зниження віку дітей для вступу до школи і збільшення терміну навчання. Серед
обов'язкових предметів в навчальних планах всіх країн передбачена фізична культура, на вивчення якої відводиться різна
кількість часу. У більшості досліджуваних країн Європи, Азії та Америки обов'язкові уроки фізичної культури доповнені
заняттями в шкільних спортивних клубах і секціях з великим вибором видів рухової активності.

The aim
of the article is to determine the place of the subject "Physical Culture" in the educational system of foreign countries for the
formation of a modern strategy for the development of physical education in secondary schools of Ukraine on the basis of world
experience. The article presents the structure of the system of general secondary education in some countries of Europe, Asia, and
America, which have similar levels: primary, incomplete secondary and full secondary. Each of the levels has its duration in different
countries. A common trend is to reduce the age of children for admission to school and increase the duration of education.
Among the compulsory subjects in the curricula of all countries is a physical culture. The study of physical culture is given a
different amount of time. In most of the studied countries of Europe, Asia and America, compulsory physical education lessons are
supplemented by classes in school sports clubs and sections with a large selection of types of motor activity.
At the same time, there is a problem of incompleteness of the pedagogical staff of schools in some European countries by
the graduated teachers of physical culture for conducting lessons with children of primary school age. Specialists in physical culture
and sports work with students of secondary and senior schools.
