Вектори компетентнісно орієнтованої фахової підготовки майбутніх учителів-дефектологів

Статтю присвячено актуальній проблемі фахової підготовки майбутніх учителів-дефектологів. Аналізуються поняття «компетентність» та «професійна компетентність вчителя-дефектолога»; компетентнісно орієнтована фахова підготовка вчителя-дефектолога у закладі вищої освіти визначається як така, що має бути спрямована на формування загальних та спеціальних компетентностей з огляду на поліфункціональність надання освітніх послуг особам (дітям) з ООП; розглянуто окремі вектори організації такої підготовки здобувачів освіти спеціальності «Спеціальна освіта» у Волинському національному університеті імені Лесі Українки; зазначено, що освітній процес, складовими якого є, зокрема, теоретична та практична підготовка циклу обов’язкових освітніх компонентів освітньо-професійної програми, здобуття поглиблених професійних знань відповідно до освітніх компонентів вибіркових дисциплін, розвиток «м’яких навичок», долучення до дистанційного і змішаного навчання, забезпечує належну фахову підготовку висококваліфікованих учителів-дефектологів, здатних до самостійної педагогічної діяльності у галузі освіти дітей з особливими потребами.

The article highlights the topical issue of professional training of future special education teachers. The author clarifies the concepts of «competence» and «professional competence of a special education teacher». Competence-oriented professional training of a teacher-defectologist in a higher education institution is defined as such, that should provide formation of general and special competencies. The topicality of such approach is determined by the multi-functional nature of educational services to persons (children) with special needs. The study focuses on several vectors of the organization of such training for students majoring in «Special Education» at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, which is carried out in accordance with the Bachelor and Master degree educational and professional training programs for specialists in defectology.
Competencies, which are determined in the educational and professional programs, manifest a dynamic symbiosis of knowledge, understanding, skills (practical, interpersonal, intellectual), and ethical values, which future special education teachers should acquire during their studies at university. It is emphasized that the educational process, the essential component of which is theoretical training, involves the meaningful acquisition by the students of scientific theories and concepts regarding special and inclusive education. In the process of practical training (educational and pedagogical practice), students acquire applicable skills in organizing educational-corrective and developmental work with children with special needs.
