Погляди митрополита Андрея Шептицького на роль жінки у формуванні нації

У статті проаналізовано погляди Андрея Шептицького на роль жінки у суспільному житті та формуванні нації. Досліджено умови формування ставлення Владики до жінки та роль у цьому процесі його матері. Звернено увагу на його погляди щодо української ідентичності та самосвідомості як передумови формування модерної нації. Окреслено концептуальні засади його бачення освіти та самореалізації жінок. Наведено відомості про деяких випускниць першої української приватної жіночої гімназії сестер Василіянок, що реалізували себе у мистецькій діяльності.

The article analyzes the views of Andrey Sheptytsky on the role of women in public life and formation of the nation. The conditions of formation of the Bishop's attitude towards the woman and the role in this process of his mother are investigated. Attention is drawn to his views on Ukrainian identity and consciousness as a prerequisite for the formation of a modern nation. The conceptual bases of his vision of women's education and self-realization are outlined. The information about some graduates of the first Ukrainian private women's gymnasium of the Vasiliyanok sisters who realized themselves in artistic activity is given.
