Науково-педагогічна та громадська діяльність А. Г. Погрібного (1960- 2007 рр.)

У дисертації вперше комплексно досліджено науково-педагогічну та громадську діяльність А.Г. Погрібного, виявлено та систематизовано його погляди щодо напрямів реформування освіти в Україні. На основі дослідження біографічних, соціально-педагогічних та історичних факторів впливу на становлення особистості педагога розроблено наукову періодизацію діяльності вченого. Виокремлено та охарактеризовано чотири періоди науково-педагогічної та громадської діяльності А.Г. Погрібного: 1-й період –пошуково-пропедевтичний (1960-1970 рр.); 2-й період – науково-педагогічного становлення (1970-1992 рр.); 3-й період – управлінсько-педагогічний (1992-1994 рр.); 4-й період – педагогічно-просвітницький (1994-2007 рр.). Виявлено принципи, тенденції та закономірності названої діяльності. Описано психолого-педагогічний портрет А.Г. Погрібного за допомогою характеристики світогляду, особистих якостей, напрямів та сфер педагогічної діяльності, педагогічної майстерності, взаємодії з колегами та вихованцями.

A theoretical generalization and new solution of an important and urgent task, which is found in the scientific substantiation and systematization of pedagogical views, principles, trends and patterns of scientific, educational and social activities of A.G. Pogribnyi, describing his psychological and pedagogical portrait and determining the place of professor’s heritage in teaching science and practice, is presented. Reasoned periods in scientific and pedagogical activity of A.G. Pogribnyi are
revealed: searching and propaedeutic (1960-1970) – the period of gaining first teaching
experience, developing professional skills, selecting the direction of creative research;
scientific and educational establishment (1970-1992) – the period of his establishment as a scholar and teacher, early social activity and cooperation with Ukrainian diaspora in USA, the manifestation of solutions to the problems of Ukrainian education; administrative and pedagogical (1992-1994) – the period of active reformatory activities in the area of
education as the first Deputy Minister of Education of Ukraine; pedagogical and educational (1994-2007) – the period of achieving the top of pedagogical skills, spreading the pedagogical heritage of G.G. Vashchenko, establishing Ukrainian Pedagogical Society
of G. Vaschenko, conducting education and educational dialogue with Ukrainians during
the radio program broadcasts «If we learned the way we should».
