Сутність громадянського виховання в давній історії українців

Аналізується зміст громадянського виховання у давній історії українців, який визначався низкою взаємопов’язаних аспектів: розумінням буття у парадигмі віч-на-віч зі смертю, бойовим духом та налаштованістю на перемогу, героїзмом та його позірними формами. Наголошується, що особливої актуальності виховання захисника набуло в умовах розгортання кочової стихії, декілька хвиль якої (від печенігів до половців) накочувалися зі степів на землі східних слов’ян на межі 1–2 тис н. е. Боротьба з таким сильним противником потребувала максимальної концентрації зусиль, що зумовлювало посилення патріотичного виховання. Його важливим компонентом стала розвинена система фізичної підготовки, поєднана з мудрістю й освіченістю, що в комплексі розглядалися як основа героїзму. Тому не випадково проблема виховання посіла провідне місце у філософських творах докозацької доби як релігійного, так і світського характеру, автори яких постають справжніми патріотами рідної землі. Відзначається актуальність праць Григорія Сковороди, у центрі творчості якого перебуває людина, а питання природженої звитяги українців у ратній справі у творчості Григорія Сковороди перебуває у річищі однієї з ключових тем його філософської спадщини. Для філософа патріотизм постає багатогранним і складним почуттям любові до Вітчизни, у змісті якого органічно поєднуються любов до рідної землі, природи, мови, традицій, що передбачає усвідомлення патріотичного обов’язку перед власним народом.

The content of civic education in the ancient history of Ukrainians is analyzed, which was determined by a number of interrelated aspects: the understanding of being in a paradigm face to face with death, fighting spirit and determination to win, heroism and its visible forms. It is emphasized that the education of the defender gained special relevance in the conditions of the development of the nomadic element, several waves of which (from the Pechenegs to the Polovtsians) rolled from the steppes to the lands of the Eastern Slavs at the border of 1–2 thousand AD. The fight against such a strong enemy required the maximum concentration of efforts, which led to the strengthening of patriotic education. Its important component was a developed system of physical training, combined with wisdom and education, which in the complex were considered as the basis of heroism. Therefore, it is not by chance that the problem of education took a leading place in the philosophical works of the pre-Cossack period, both of a religious and secular nature, the authors of which appear as true patriots of their native land. The relevance of Hryhoriy Skovoroda’s works is noted, the human being is at the center of his work, and the issue of Ukrainians’ innate ability in military affairs in Hryhoriy Skovoroda’s work is at the heart of one of the key themes of his philosophical heritage. For the philosopher, patriotism appears as a multifaceted and complex feeling of love for the Homeland, the content of which organically combines love for the native land, nature, language, and traditions, which implies the awareness of patriotic duty to one’s own people.
