Київська Русь і її дипломатія в ІХ – першій половині Х століття: відношення з державами Європи та Азії

Аналіз історії розвитку зовнішньої політики Київської Русі показує, що це був важкий шлях,
сповнений невдач, успіхів і придбання практики в цій непростій ситуації, коли навколо відсутня
в інших народів і племен системи відношень зі своїми сусідами, постійні війни, а тому і припинення
торгових, політичних зв’язків і налагодження у зв’язку із цим мирних відносин для збереження миру
і дипломатичних зв’язків. Історія зовнішньої політики і зародження прадавньої руської диплома-
тії, організація зовнішньополітичної діяльності, дипломатичної служби Київської Русі, а також її
форм, функцій, методів, за допомогою яких руська ранньофеодальна монархія робила перші кроки
у творенні своєї зовнішньої політики. Але, щоб ми не говорили про ті давні часи, якщо була держа-
ва, військо, управління державою вимагало зовнішньополітичних зносин, держава не може бути
замкнута сама на собі. Перші кроки стародавньої Русі вимагали на міжнародній арені організа-
ційних кроків, які б конкретно вказували на те, що держава хоче робити в напрямку своєї зовніш-
ньої політики, які форми і методи вона буде впроваджувати для розвитку своєї дипломатичної
діяльності за рівнем розвитку держави, а і в міжнародній практиці того часу. Зрозуміло, що дав-
ня руська дипломатія не виникла раптово на пустому місці і в готових раз і назавжди формах,
у той час цього не було і не могло бути, але була держава і вона повинна мати свою дипломатію,
в замкнутому колі неможливо було жити і вижити не можна було. Необхідно підкреслити, що на
кожному історичному етапі Русь одночасно вирішувала декілька важливих зовнішньополітичних
задач, і це, як правило, вдавалось.

Analysis of the history of foreign policy of Kievan Rus shows that it was a difficult path, full of failures,
successes and gaining practice in this difficult situation, when around other peoples and tribes lack
a system of relations with their neighbors, constant wars, and therefore the cessation of trade, political ties
and the establishment in this connection of peaceful relations for the preservation of peace and diplomatic
ties. The history of foreign policy and the birth of ancient Russian diplomacy, the organization of foreign
policy, diplomatic service of Kievan Rus, as well as its forms, functions, methods by which the Russian
early feudal monarchy took the first steps in creating its foreign policy. But lest we talk about those ancient
times, when there was a state, an army, the management of the state required foreign relations, the state
cannot be closed on its own. It was a difficult way, full of failures, successes and gaining practice in this
difficult situation, when other people and tribes do not have a system of relations with their neighbours,
wars are waged constantly and therefore the cessation of trade, political ties and set-up of peaceful
relations of the preservation of peace and diplomatic relations. The first steps of ancient Russia required
organizational steps in the international arena, which would specifically indicate what the state wants to
do in the direction of its foreign policy, what forms and methods it will implement to develop its diplomatic
activities at the level of state development and international practice that time. It is clear that the ancient
Russian diplomacy did not arise suddenly in an empty place and in ready once and for all forms, at that
time it was not and could not be, but there was a state and it must have its diplomacy, it was impossible to
live and survive in a closed circle. it was possible. It should be emphasized that at each historical stage,
Russia simultaneously solved several important foreign policy problems, and this, as a rule, succeeded.
