This article is based on the need to overcome the contradictions between theory and practice of
design education. Project education is regarded as a synonym for design education. Formulated lexical
value concepts on design, essence and functions of design education. Updated foreign experience in the
implementation of the design. Allocated information theory as analogues of the methodological
framework of the project.
