Скіфи у Європі

Ця стаття присвячена історії європейських скіфів. У статті розглядається історія скіфів у Східній та Центральній Європі. Появу скіфів у Східній Європі можна датувати VIII ст. до н. е., коли вони вдерлися у землі кіммерійців. Як етнос скіфи формувалися у Центральній Азії. Встановлення ними контактів з еллінами можна датували VII ст.до не. е. Експансію скіфів на Балкани та Центральну Європу можна датувати VI – V ст. до н. е. Велика Скіфія мала типовий для кочових конфедерацій поділ на крила та центр. Консолідація скіфів під владою одної династії датується серединою IV ст. до н. е. Скіфи чинили тиск на фракійців як у VI – V ст. до н. е. так і в IV ст. до н. е. Скіфські племена також мешкали в Алфьолді та мали культурний вплив на племена Центральної Європи. Неври, будіни, меланхлени, тіссагети, які були балто-слов’янськими та поволзько-фінськими племенами, також відчували сильний скіфський вплив. Часом кризи для скіфів став III ст. до н. е., коли зі сходу їх атакували сармати, а з заходу кельти та фракійці-гети. У ІІІ – ІІ ст. до н. е. у Криму постало Пізньоскіфське царство, яке ворогувало з Боспорським царством. У ІІ – ІІІ ст. н. е. Пізньоскіфське царство фактично було вассалом Боспорського царства. У другій половині ІІІ ст. н. е. Пізньоскіфське царство було ліквідовано аланами та готами.

This article is about the history of the European Scythians. The article examines the history of the Scythians in Eastern and Central Europe. The appearance of the Scythians in Eastern Europe can be dated back to the VIII century BC, when the Scythians invaded the lands of the Cimmerians. As an ethnos, the Scythians were formed in Central Asia. Establishing contacts with the Hellenes can be dated back to the VII century BC. The expansion of the Scythians to the Balkans and Central Europe can be dated back to the VI – V centuries BC. Greater Scythia had a division into wings and a center, typical for nomadic confederations. The consolidation of the Scythians under the rule of one dynasty dates back to the middle of the ІV century BC. The Scythians put pressure on the Thracians in the VI – V centuries BC and IV century BC. Scythian tribes also lived in Alfjold and had a cultural influence on the tribes of Central Europe. Nevras, Boudins, Melanchlens, Tissagets who were Balto-Slavic and Volga-Finnish tribes also experienced a strong Scythian influence. The time of crisis for the Scythians was the III century BC. That is, when the Sarmatians attacked them from the east, and the Celts and Thracians-Getae from the west. In the III – II centuries BC the late Scythian kingdom appeared in the Crimea, which was at enmity with the Bosporus kingdom. In the II – III centuries AD the Late Scythian kingdom was actually a vassal of the Bosporus kingdom. In the second half of the 3rd century AD the Late Scythian kingdom was liquidated by the Alans and Goths.
