Англійські запозичені слова в спортивній термінології в Україні

У даній статті пропонується до розгляду тема запозичення англійських слів до спортивної термінології в Україні. При вивченні феномена запозичення мовних одиниць дослідників цікавлять, як правило, причини й умови означеного процесу, способи проникнення та типи запозичень, характер і ступінь їх змін. Велика увага приділяється статусу запозичень: по-перше, на сучасному етапі – це одне з важливих джерел поповнення лексичного складу мови; по-друге, іншомовна лексика – це один із аспектів дослідження соціолінгвістики, психолінгвістики, теорії перекладу, культури мовлення. Час запозичення, мова-джерело й сфера вживання є цілком очевидними підставами для класифікації лексичних запозичень. Визначення мови-джерела лексичного запозичення дозволяє дослідникам робити висновки про наявність тісних культурних зв'язків із країною, з мови якої були взяті нові слова. Велика кількість англійських спортивних термінів у різних мовах є результатом колишньої англосаксонського переваги в заняттях спортом.

This article proposes to consider the topic of borrowing English words of sports terminology in Ukraine. When studying the phenomenon of borrowing linguistic units, researchers are usually interested in the causes and conditions of this process, methods of penetration and types of borrowings, the nature and degree of their changes. Much attention is paid to the status of borrowings: firstly, at the present stage it is one of the important sources of replenishment of the lexical composition of the language; secondly, foreign language vocabulary is one of the aspects of the study of sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, translation theory, and speech culture. The time of borrowing, the source speech and the scope of application are quite obvious grounds for the classification of lexical borrowings. Determination of the source language of lexical borrowing allows researchers to draw conclusions about the presence of close cultural ties with the country from whose language new words were taken. The large number of English sports terms in different languages are the result of the former Anglo-Saxon advantage in sports. Phonemes taken from English, as a rule, are assigned to the nearest Ukrainian phonemes. This series of sounds is written in accordance with the norms of the standard Ukrainian spelling. There is no mechanical transcription letter by letter. Research shows that English fundamentals are important in modern Ukrainian sports terminology, although some early borrowings have been replaced. The Ukrainian language has more sports borrowings from English than from any other language. Processing other parts of the vocabulary may well reveal many more examples of English influence on sports terminology in Ukraine.
